Is this common? I "had" a very large RBTA, about 10" - 12" across. I come back after a business trip and now I have three RBTA. All three look to be doing fine. Just never heard of it splitting into thirds before.

yes, mine did the same and I've heard a few others have done the same. No need to worry just let them heal before you try to feed, I would suggest 2 weeks. When you do start to feed you'll have to use smaller bits then you were when it was large.

I had one split into 3rds also. I think my rainbow may do it also, it seems to be pulling in many directions

OK. This is getting even more strange. The biggest split is looking to split again. It is almost as big as it was before it split a couple days ago. The two babies are both about 3-4 inches across. Pics attached. The first pic is the mother and the second two are the splits.

My nem had two feet for months before it finally split, very strange but its doing ok now.

I only know of one other instance where an anemone split into thirds. And all 3 survived nicely too. ;) Congratulations!
