I’ve been out of the hobby for a few years and just now starting back in. Starting a new Waterbox 20 gallon AIO with a Kessil A80. In the cycle process now but hopefully in the next few weeks can start adding some plant life.

Thats awesome man! I just got a waterbox too their aquariums are awesome. How's the tank going now?

It’s going good so far. Just about to start adding some coral in the next week or so. What size did you get?

I actually made my own screen top for it a week ago just for sake of having any jumpers or what not.

Oh that's cool! I need to make a screen topper at some point too. I was boring and got the 28g Frag. Wanted to try it out before investing into an actual bigger tank. Currently loving it though. You are also so much more patient than me. I've got corals and stuff in it a long time ago, but mine doesn't have fish

what frame is that for the screen top?

It’s actually the innovative marine DIY kit. You just have to the rails down to size to fit your tank then spline the mesh net in while holding tight. My wife helped me and it wasn’t to hard at all. All for I think $23.

What power head are you using on your Waterbox that’s the one item I haven’t put in yet.

So since mine is a frag tank I couldn't get great flow unless I had 2 powerheads. After running costs through my head I decided to use the Jebao Ow-10s. They are the best bang for your buck if you want a controllable powerhead. I will say they do feel a little cheap though, but considering they are $50 a piece thats not too bad. If you have the money, I'd recommend an Ecotech. I just couldnt justify spending $400 on powerheads for a frag tank. I think you could use one and be fine

+1 for the Jebao OW-10. That's what I have on my 20 gallon. It was a little noisy for about a week and I thought I made a mistake, but then it got silent. I love the range of flow. I typically run it on the 4th level at random flow and crank it all the way up before a water change.

@Onefallleaf was yours noisy at first too, or always quiet?

@AquariumSchmo No mines been pretty quiet. The only time i got any hint of noise was when i was running it on W1 mode fully maxed out speed and rotation. I typically run mine on W2 now for a more consistent flow but I'm still in the testing phase. Ill run one about 5th speed and the other about 2nd. Itll be mostly SPS in the tank though
