With it being horizontal and having a single square lid I did two o-rings for each chamber and pads at the top also large media so the affluent valve didn’t get clogged...

I have thought of that and I put the JG fittings as far as I could to the top. We will just have to see. I don’t know if this has been tried before so it may take some tweaking but I think I can get it to work…

How does the JG fitting bear any role in the CO2 distribution to the media in chamber 1? Especially without a spray bar?

Worst case I will put a co2 recovery system in. I can slightly raise the front of the reactor allow the co2 to collect at the top of the reactor. By putting a small fitting were the co2 is collecting and running a tube back to the manifold went the controller turns off the co2 coming from the tank the manifold will act like a venturi sucking the unused co2 back though the reactor until it is used up. If that makes since…

I was thinking along these lines for a larger horizontal reactor. But put a media screen horizontally splitting the chamber with a spray-bar underneath.

I was going to do a spray bar but the reactor is about 4 times larger the I need anyway. Don’t forget I am only dealing with 65 gal. or so. I was going to do a square reactor that one was going to hold enough media to do a 600 gal. tank...

You also need a 1/4" compression fitting and 1/4 copper tubing...

Putting the tube facing up it will allow you to pull the gas and not the liquid...

I will make a top for it as bad as I hate to do it the tank is a great look down tank
I don’t want to lose the helfrichi…The lamp is an Ushio 20K. the rock is live I just bleach all my rock before it goes into the bin to cure I hate pest...
You should see them when the blue from that 20K isn’t pull the color out of them. I will get some pix under natural light tomorrow and post them…
