Theres not alot of maintenance on the skimmer. Plus when the top of the skimmer and the pump is removed its really not that bad.

I cant wait to get some livestock either. I have about 20 hermits and some armor of god zoas, and lolli pop zoas in there right now that was attached to the LR when I put it in there.

PS Chris from Fishscales does rock, if anyone is looking for a nicecustom tank and stand. Super clear low iron glass as well.

So Chris came over and changed the baffles in the sump so the water level is a little lower for the skimmer. All I have to say is he is always on time and stands by everything he does. It took about an hr and now Im waiting for it to dry.

And let me say again this tank is really nice and I would recommend anyone to Fish Scales for a custom tank. If anyone would like to stop by and see it for themselves please feel free to contact me.

That looks really nice I need to talk with Chris sometime maybe can't find anything that is making us happy right now.

I would really talk with Chris he has some super ideas and can build any size you want custom in a real short time period. Hes got some really good prices too. He has a guy that builds stands and canopies to.

Ok so the parameters are starting to stablize. I cant wait to start filling this thing up with some goodies.....

Would it be in bad form to call dibbs when this set up is broken down?

WILLIAM1;559115 wrote: I also made some new gurgle buster drains and let me tell you its SILENT....... I will have to raise the skimmer up about 2 inches though just a little deep in the sump, because its skimming really wet.

Got any info on these?

Acroholic;580135 wrote: Where is the calcium reactor in the sump? Can we get a pic?

I actually havent set up a calcium reactor yet. It was alot larger than I thought. Still working on a solution..... Ive been dosing daily.

justindville1987;580159 wrote: thats a hell of a skimmer my man. did you get rid of the 180 yet?

The 180 has been gone for a while. But I did keep the skimmer which keeps the tank pretty clean.

I also have started to frag the chalice in the pictures and will be selling some soon as there healed.... The chalice came from Jeremy and its a watermelon chalice....
