I got this on 1/31 and it moved under the rocks. Just showed it's face last night.

Maybe 3" across when expanded. Picked a nice spot too: Middle of the reef facing the front glass. It is in my 60 gallon. Actual color is bright orange tentacles with yellow tips. Base is green when it matures.

The one from cherry went under a rock, and never came out after about three weeks of being out and inflated and feeding well....it eventually shrank down to nothing and died......all the while 8 inches away a regular RBTA was hosting a clown and doing well...still is.

I'll never figure that one out.

How often should one feed a Nem? They gotta be photosynthetic to a certain extent with these colors. I've fed this flame tip 2 x since 1/31.

This sounds dumb, but I get good results....

I use color enhancing food, what ever the brand Time sells, I can't remember the name. Everytime I feed the tank, I'd put a few flakes in a cup, then some tank water, suck it up with a turkey baster and target feed the anemone first, and then the fish. I had one anemone double in size in 2 months this way.

Also, when Linda and I went to get those GBTAs from Fester a few years ago, after a few weeks of this type of feeding, my anemone was a light purplish color, while everyone else's was li9ght green.

Not saying my way's better, just a different approach. I do feed cyclopeze and BARF occasionally as well.
