New Basement Setup

I talked to friend of mine who is a microbiologist and an avid saltwater hobbyist. He said (uncertainly) that it is probably a contaminant in the RODI water that was not removed by the purification process. Apparently they see this a lot in wastewater purification. He also said it should not be harmful to the aquarium but carbon will clear it right up. I still wouldn't rule out the salt though.

Wow that water doesn't look right at all like maybe DI resin is leaching into it or something.
