I purchased a BTA yesterday and he seems to be doing well, he's found a place on the rocks and looks like he's healthy...I woke up this morning and found my Coral Beauty laying on the sand dead!! He was fine and healthy yesterday, I had him about a year and he didn't exhibit any health issues, which leads me to believe he got too nosy and the anemone zapped him. Only thing that makes sense. anybody else had any bad experience with Coral Beauties and BTAs?

I don't think the sting of a BTA would kill a healthy fish.

+2. A BTA sting is nothing real hazardous to a fish. It's more of an annoyance.

Sorry about your loss but I'd look to something else as the cause.
