Just got a Picasso clown smaller than my nemo now. Problem is he's picking on the Picasso. I have the nemo in a net for now. How long should he be in time out?

might need to relocate one of them...

If there's an obvious size difference yet the new guy is till being picked on, then there's an issue

You could try a quarentine of the old fish while the new fish gets accustomed to the tank, but that would be your only alternative.

LOL.... or.....

You SHOULD qt your new acquisition for a period of 1 to 4 weeks, then switch the fish in the tanks to let the new guy become accustomed to the new tank without the bully present

Yeah usulaay clown species will not get along with each other in a small system. You have to have a very large setup in order to house more that one species of clowns

Their in a 29 gallon so shouldn't be an issue. I have the larger in a net for now just put food in the water and picasso ate which is a good sign. I was told with lights out they might get use to each other? Maybe
