+1 on cancelling the Seaclone if possible. Several reasons... first, it isn't rated up to your size tank... and typically the lower quality skimmer, the more you need to run it rated for a lot MORE than your tank size. Second, it doesn't really matter what it is rated for, since they flat do not work!
I tried one when I first started (at the urging and recommendation of a local fish store, who it turns out was shady and thankfully went out of business). I had read all of the "hot tips" on the web on how they work OK once you get them adjusted, and as long as you get the one with the MaxiJet pump, and how you need to replace the air valve with a quality needle valve just so you CAN get it adjusted...
The truth is that none of that matters. It's just a piece of junk, and until I can decide what to make out of it OTHER than a protein skimmer, it's gonna sit and gather dust.
If it tells you anything, I am putting together a 14 gallon tank for my daughter, and am looking for a skimmer for it... and I will not even consider putting the Seaclone on it, even though I could. It won't skim a 14 gallon tank; it certainly won't handle a 125 gallon tank. If you buy this skimmer, you will end up with a $100 MaxiJet 1200 pump... because that is the only thing in the box worth owning.
I'm in Paulding and work in Douglasville, if you need any specific help you can PM me and we'll try to meet up.
