I just got a microscope! I am far from a trained biologist, but it just seems there are so many unanswered questions about our hobby that simple scientific experiments could answer. Looking forward to getting my smarts on! Its a sign you have a problem when you buy a piece of scientific equipment just to observe your hobby.

does it do digital pics?!
It doesn't as is. I don't know too much about microscopes but I figured I'd rather spend a little more upfront on the scope and upgrade to the camera later than to buy a junky one with a junky camera. Amazon seller claims its a $1100 scope but I don't really believe i saved $900. It seems to be pretty well put together, a little nicer than what I had in high school (last time I used one). Maybe one of you know more about it =-)

I know so little it's embarrassing... at least to me. That said, I think that I've got some blank slides and cover slips. Let me know and I'll bring them to the next meeting at Jenn's

Copapod , bristle worm, sps skelaton (frag a polop then slice from hole to the end of the frag remove the worm for got what its calledthe skin is cool also) and alge and my favrit the skin from a rabitfish wait for them to shed and git a peace from the top fins be careful there toxins are on the skin so use gloves and forceps

thats awesome id love to see what kind of micro life is going on in my tank along with getting a closer look a things i can already see props on your investment into the hobby
