Since I have a soft, SPS/LPS, and FOWLR I thought I would put my spare 10 gallon to use. My LFS had a peacock mantis in a 5" x 5" tiny tank for about 1.2 years so I decided to give him a better home.

I put 4 types of zoos, kenya tree, red mushroom, and GSP in there with him. I keep the tank at my desk at work and it is interesting to see how he redecorates the tank every day.

I am currently thinking of names so feel free to make a suggestion.

The lfs I frequent has a bright green mantis he ordered and the guy decided he didnt want it. I was thinking about setting up a ten gallon for it. Now I have motivation.

Has he really been at the store for over a year? I did not think it had been that long. That is a very nice mantis.

Yeah I was told it has been there for over a year, but I know several others have purchased them from you guys. Do you know how to tell what the sex is? It would be cool to set up a breeding pair. Jimmy do you guys have any aqua-soil? A kid in my laboratory wants setting up an Iwagumi style freshwater tank.

Monty the Mantis as a name?

Nice colors! I would think something a little more regal. Flowing tail. Maybe due to their indestructability (is that even a word) something such as Scion?
