Hello everyone it's good to be back. It's been five years since I have had a tank and I'm so ready to get started.

The reason I've been gone is because I've been a long-term recovery program for drugs and alcohol. I have successfully graduated the program and have 30 months  clean and sober.

My love for the hobby is stronger than ever.I'm just looking for some good advice and possibly some good deals to get started and handouts if you got them.

I figured I would join the club before I bought any supplies a tank anything like that.I'm looking forward to what lies ahead.Thank you for your advice and help in advance.

Congratulations!  Glad to have you here. If you're looking for a smaller tank just keep your eyes out. I am sure someone will have a 20-40g tank and some supplies they might donate sooner or later. What kind of coral are you looking to get in to?

Five years ago I would have been swamped with people trying to help. So thank you for responding.

I will be growing SPS,zoas, caps, hard, stoney and softies. I've had pretty good luck with everything except the SPS. Not so good.

Congratulations on getting sober and 30 months is a good bit of time under your belt. Unfortunately I know far to many people that couldn't make it 30 days let alone 30 months. Keep up the good work, sounds like you have a good support system in place.

Do you know what size range you're looking at system wise? I have a skimmer, RODI system and mixing drums for sale. I'm also about to list a Classic Apex. Once you get setup and cycled I'll hook you up with some frags.

I think people are more likely to help you with frags. Equipment is another story.... I can't grow back my equipment.

Thank you. My recovery is above all else cause with out it I have nothing. I'm open with my history about drug and alcohol abuse for one reason, I got sober and you can to!

That's what's up. Just looking for some deals and ideas in which way to start. I'm pretty sure I want another bio cube. It's fairly cheap to get started and I could work on a reef tank later. Thanks for the support.

Well, like I said I have a few things for sale and different stuff is always popping up. If you're going to get an RO unit I have one for a pretty good price. Once you know the direction you're going to go with the size cube then it'll be easier to know the equipment you'll need. I also have a couple of pretty old MP40 power heads I'll let go cheap.

Get you're list together and start from there. We'll help out where we can.
