New Member - New Tank Question

Hello all,

It’s been many years since I’ve been in the hobby, decided recently to jump back in. (had to start back very small due to space constraints).
I am still in the cycling process and I am on day 4 currently. My tank is still very cloudy, is this completely normal?
It was recommended for me to use “Seed Bacteria” from aqua vitro I have been using that but I cannot seem to get my tank clear. Walls/equipment feel “slimy” to the touch. Could this be the reason why?

I have just tried to follow the instructions on bottle, what should I be doing to be feed the bacteria?

Do you have any fish in the tank? This what i would use along with the bacteria to do a fishless cycle

Most people do a fishless cycle using the bottled ammonia. I would recommend reading up here

I would just add that, in my very personal opinion, there is no "wrong" way to cycle. I would not sweat this. There are so many other puzzles and issues you will encounter in the future, I would relax on this one! Your tank is going to cycle.
