Ive been in the hobby for about 15 years. Im currently running a 55g which was gifted(free) to me from someone getting out of the hobby a few years back. I took it as an upgrade to a 29g biocube that had been modified with leds. Well, a new and bigger tank requires new and bigger things so I had to go shopping... I started by drilling the tank and modifying the stand to fit a sump. Added some ecotech items. Im using a reef octopus skimmer and a gfo/carbon reactor to help keep it clean. A dosing system provides extra ca and alk. The tank has been up and running since june of 2015 and ive seen some great growth. Overall things have been pretty stable, a few(many) fish failures and like every other tank ive owned, "im running out of room." The first pic is 2015, 2nd 2016, 3rd early 2017 and the last is last week some time. Thanks for viewing and commenting- hope to meet some of you as i continue on this journey

Welcome, and that tank must look beautiful with all the swaying corals.

Welcome aboard and thats a nice looking tank. How about a video of the water movement? I've been thinking about starting a thread about movement in our tanks to see what everyone has in place.
