Hi:
I just signed up and new to saltwater hobby after a 20 year layoff from saltwater tanks. I see alot has changed since I have been gone.

Currently I have a 35g live plant freshwater and have been fighting the urge to get back into salt. Would like to either get a 29g bio cube and do salt or trasfer my freshwater fish to a bio cube and use the 35g for a salt tank or maybe go bigger...

Anyway here I am and read to do some serious reading.

Yeah reef would be nice but I sorta like fish only....Maybe I need two tanks.

Good suggestion about going bigger as well, makes sense

20 Year layoff. I just did the same thing. I am also new to this group. They are great and very involved. Welcome.
 
My first tank was a 29 G Biocube but I had a lot of help from friends in the saltwater community to make sure everything was setup correctly. So it's definitely doable to start with a 29G... I have the HQI version so if you have any questions let me know. I'm about to pick up a bigger 60 G soon so yes the addiction will only grow! :)
