Yes but letting every thing settle for a little while. I have been adding some thing every weekend. So I thought it may do it good to give it a couple of weeks off.
Thanks for the name. It looks just like it. at least now I know a little about it.

there are so many possibilities that in order to ID that coral, you would need to send some off to a pro. However, depending upon the polyps (do they retract? turn white? what do they look like? is the coral smooth, silky, or slimey? etc) Could be a Klyxum?

are you adding/testing calcium? I would think you would have some coraline starting to grow. If you pick up a piece of live rock and rub the serraited end of a knife lightley onto the coraline it will help spread the spores throughout your tank. Also dosing strontium will help out.

If you started dripping kalkwasser that will add both and it will keep the PH and ALK up.

Looks great so far....that is a real big tank.

Mysterybox it feels smooth and slimmy. The little flower like things will suck in when you touch it.

I have not started adding any chem. yet. Everything is testing fine right now. I dont think it will be long and I will have to tho. The tank is a 150 gallon. I thought it would be a good starter and I would not have to up grade to soon but I already think I want to go bigger.lol

I would like to have a 90. But I also want at least 300 one day. It my have to wait for my son to move out. lol I told him he needs to hurry up and finish school and get a job so he can get out and he just thinks I'm crazy.

Yes he is doing good not messing with any thing that he shouldn't.

What are they notorious for? i'm considering adding a dwarf angel and it's between a cherub and the bi color.

not a big fan of the flame...

Go with the Cherub...one of my favorite fish in my 160!

Just curious if those are pieces of slate in with the LR? Is slate okay to use in a reeftank?

I'm not a geologist, but was wondering if slate contained iron or anything else that might leach out into saltwater. I would imagine that you could do some amazing aquascaping with slate, but there might be a reason you don't see it in reeftanks.

I am not sure of what kind of rock it is. My husband bought it at the lfs. So I would guess it is safe for my tank.
