We finally started setting up the new Reef Displays! Liz did the rock stack on the first one (Redsea 650 Max-S) last night... starting to clear up a bit. Plan is for this one to be big softies and LPS mainly.

The second tank (Redsea Reefer 450) is planned to be harder to keep corals and SPS. We are still waiting on the new Hydra HD LEDs for that tank.

We will keep you guys updated with pictures as they get going... but for now here is a little sneak peak at Liz's rock work!

Plans for acanthophyllias, wellsos, and scollymia in the tank?

Liz said yes to all of the above =)

Sorry for slacking on updates guys.

The Redsea Max has coral and fish in it! Starting to look really good. Tank was a little cloudy today after Liz messing with it so I promise to get a picture update asap. Oh and also getting AI Hydra for this system as well... sorry guys no more T5s =)

But I did finally get the new AI Hydra HD 26 LEDs sent from Redsea for the Reefer! I mounted them Sunday morning. Liz is waiting on sand to get here and it's time for water!

The reefer is getting the full VIP treatment... Apex, Hydra HDs, Top of the line Skimmer (TBD), etc

Sorry about all the glare, but a little sneak peak for you guys...

Here is a quick picture I took on my way out today of the Redsea Max 650. Stocking is definitely well under way as you can see. Rock has nice algae on it finally, so we are hoping to start seeing some coralline soon. Picture was taken under full spectrum T5 so colors aren't the greatest in the picture. Expecting the AI Hydra upgrade for this system sometime this month.

Of course she as already managed to squeeze 4 wrasses in there...

Just finished upgrade the Redsea Max-S to the Hydra 26 HDs. Still tweaking colors with the programming, but I snapped some quick pictures to give you guys an idea. Also as you guys know it is harder to photograph LED lighting. Tank doesn't look nearly as blue/washed out in person.

It is the mount that will be shipping with the new version of the Redsea Max-S systems. Specifically made to hold the new Hydra 26 HDs they will now be shipping with. I do not think there will be any option of buying just the mount as it specifically attaches to the Redsea systems only.

Wow, that's disappointing because that is one sharp looking mount!

Update on the Redsea Max-S 650. It is really hard to get a good picture of this tank. Some coral has came and gone being a store display. But here it is...
