I finally decided that I want a FOWLR predator tank so I got a new skimmer for my 120.

So far so good. It is on a new tank so between the tank and the newness of the skimmer it will take a while to break in. I can certain attest to the quality of the skimmer, outstanding workmanship.

Great skimmers, I still have one of the older RC250's from the euroreef days and I still love it. Back in the hey day, everyone copied ER design. Great design!!

Reef Dynamics IS the former Euroreef.

Euroreef doesn't exist anymore.

I ran 2 of the Euroreef IN135's in different setups and they are unbelievable. Who cares if they are old tech vs. some of the new cone styles, they produce skimmate so thick you can cut it with a knife. That zero lift cup removal is nice too.

Agreed....I would rather have a proven "old" technology that is built to the highest standards than the newest thing that is not proven to add anything to the equation.

I like the fact that the skimmer is American made and of the highest quality. I have had an Octopus 150 and it simply is not of the same quality as this skimmer. Time will tell how this functions but I am confident that I will not be disappointed.

I used to have to run the bathroom vent fan in my basement for a few hours after cleaning my skimmate cup if that gives any indications of the skimmer effectiveness:D My wife cleaned it for me once and refused to get near it again....LOL.

if they are the same as ER use to be then it will be a great skimmer.
