New skimmer

I know it's not the top of the line but can't bring my self to spend $800 -1000 on a skimmer.
I did upgrage to the Purple Pin wheel, seems well built and started skimming with in 3hrs.

Ya the 250 is big and this just fit, would have liked the extra pump.

I just installed the same skimmer on my 120 about 2 months ago. Love the new cone design. Kinda hard to get to skim wet though.

It does seem kind of hard to fine tune, just can't get over the foam I have already - guess the break in time is over

if your having a hard time adjusting it look into adding a gate valve mod..
