New T-5 lights and frags

Hi everyone,
Got some new t-5 lights today 36w total. These are over my 10gal frag tank. They look awesome under these lights. Coloring and lighting is good. I have my SPS on a frag rack near the top and my LPS on the bottom of the tank.

My new frags today I got a purple birdnest....Pink Monti.....a lrg. frag of Hollywood stunner chalice:wow2:..a white tip acro.....and a grn acro. I got these from one of our sponsors who was having a sale. During acclaimation I also notice I had one red leg hermit crab and two blue leg hermit crabs has ride alongs...LOL:lol2:. Good thing they crawled out of hiding before I dipped the frags for diseases and parasites before going into the frag tank. Hope they all do well.:up:

Be careful that the Hollywood Stunner does not sting your new coral, I have one that puts out 5" streamers at 1am, it is very pretty! :yes:

a word of caution... BE CAREFUL not to FRY your sps near the top with t5.

those little tubes can strait up sunburn sps before you know it.

Hi B...they are 5 to 7inches from the lights...Is that to close? Thanks Mike

Hey mike. Congrats on ur light and frags. Id start the sps in the middle of the tank just my 2c. Then work them higher if u want. Congrats!

Thanks Jimmy...In just the few days I have had these lights I have seen an improvement in all my corals.
