Well the new 75gal tank with the 30 gal sump was coming along nicely until I noticed a drip in the plumbing. Unfortunately I'll have to drain the tank to be able to slide it from the wall to fix it. I would rather do this now before I put all the fish in here from my 30 gallon tank and stress them out again. While it's down I would like to swap the stand out for a new one I built that's way sturdier and lots more room to work under it. I hope to also switch the crushed coral out for sand before any detritus or anything gets in there and makes it nasty. I thought I would like it but don't and would like some sand sifters one day. I will throw a good chunk of it in the sump since it's already cycled and seeded with beneficial bacteria we got some rock in the sump out of the 30 gal and this tree built so far. I'm ready to get the rest of it out of the 30 and in here and get the scape built. Hopefully swapping the sand won't set me back too far keeping a big chunk of it and having some love rock in there already

At least you found the leak now. Is there anyway to set it up again where plumbing repairs would not involve moving it?
Oh definitely it was my own stupid mistake I put a strap in the pipe to hold it in place while I got everything glued and tied together and simply forgot to take that strap off the back of the stand 🤦🤦🤦
