Hi All! My family moved to McDonough from Virginia last year. We moved our 180 Gallon saltwater aquarium, the water, the fish, the sand, and everything else, on one of those nice Georgia 105 degree days. We didn't lose any fish during the move, but we have since then due to a variety of contributing factors. With that said, I'm trying to locate a saltwater fish store somewhere reasonably close to me. We had Blue Planet, which was a fantastic store until it closed. Can anyone recommend some fish stores down south, in my neck of the woods? In perusing this forum, I have found a large number of stores north of Atlanta that I was unaware of, so I am already better off than I was, but a local shop would be fantastic.

Thanks for your help! :fish:

Chris...if you look on our Sponsor page, I believe you will find a map with stores located on it. Now mind you, that is only club sponsor stores and not all others.

Welcome to the South!!

Thanks for the response! I see several that are 40+ miles from me. I'll definitely be visiting those quite soon if I can't find anything closer...

Here you go:

Atlanta Aquarium; and no, not the gigantic place that houses the beluga whales. Rit's place is the Atlanta Aquarium. The contact info is on our sponsor's page located here: http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=53865">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=53865</a> . Tell Rit that Wannabee sent ya.

Nemo's Aquarium. Great selection of fish and great pricing. Here's the info: [IMG]http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85897">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85897</a>

Either of these two would be the first places I stop. If you looking for all around reef stuff; I would be biased but I would go to Rit. If you looking to add a couple of fish, either Rit or Nemo's would take care of you.
