Thank would be great. I plan on joining ARC when I start setting everything up. the forums have really helped me out on some of the things I plan on doing and I have been doing a lot of research on my own. Also I think I'm going to change the tank I plan on using. The more and more I look at the flat back hex that I was going to use the more I really don't like to use it. When I put my rock in, there is not going to be very much floor space to attach any low light corals to. So on that note I'm thinking about building my own tank. I have 1/4" glass lying around my house that I can use to build it from. I have done this in the past with great success. It will be around 20 to 29 gallons.

IF you are still in purchase mode...there are some good used items you can buy from members to save money...and there are some who only post to members for items they are selling for a few days before it becomes public...may be an immediate payoff to becoming a member...just a thought.

Yeah I had planned on joining before I started buying anything. It will be toward the end of the month before I can do anything though.

I was noticing that one of the sponsors on here is blue planet in mcdonough which is really close to my house. Also another reason I want to join is for the info. Everyone I have talked to on here has been really great and has provided me with some great info.

Well my plans fell through on building a larger tank. All of the glass I thought would work turned out to be tempered and to large. That means I will be using my flat back hex after all. Here is a few links to pics of the tank.
