<span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">A friend gave me a tank, PHs, a rock with some xenia and lights so we decided to start a reef tank for the home school coop group we hold once a week.
I have read and researched a bit and decided to join the forums to get some local help.
We are on a tight budget and are looking for the best local LFS to get our LR and a couple of fish. We are in JC but I'm willing to drive a bit to avoid paying $8.00 per # for LR.
The tank is a 40gal breeder patterned after the garf.org bullet proof tank, homemade stand, coralife lunar aqualife lights, some live sand and a couple of PHs. I'll post a picture after I get some LR.
We gave up diving when we had to start funding offspring so I am looking forward to having a bit of reef in the house. The home schoolers are already transfixed by the crabs, snails, xenia etc in the tank now.
I look forward to hearing from you.
