i am about to get a new biocube 29 hqi and have lots of questions, thus the multiple threads lol
one question i have is i have a biocube 14 currently with no skimmer and no sump...it is pretty full at the moment, thus the upgrade...id really like to get a sump and a skimmer with the new tank...lots of people put an aquatic life 115 skimmer in the first chamber before the water hits the filter floss, chemipure, purigen etc...is this ok?...doesnt it make more sense to put the skimmer after the media?
also...and i know this is a hugely noob question...can i out the skimmer and something like cheatoh in the sump if i have one at the same time..or does the fuge have to be seperate from the sump
