I was playing with the PC camera tonight and took a quick video of one of the Flaming Prawn Gobies in the Nano and thought it would be cool to share it.

Hopefully this will work.

 Well, that did not work they way I had hoped. Guess it was too big a file.

I concur! Mine are never out when people come over to the house to visit but I see them all day long. I think they are just shy.

No, it's the board software. Just click on the file name and if your browser is smart enough it will open in a player.

Looks good Bob!

Those are so cool, how much did you pay for them? Are you planning to breed them and raise the young?:D

Ha! I can't even imagine how small the larva might be for these guys! Heck, full grown they are only about an inch long. The other problem I have is that I think I may have two males. They live on opposite sides of the tank and when ever they meet they display at each other. Not much likelihood of a spawn anytime soon. I just finished setting up their new tank so maybe I'll look for a couple more in the hope of snagging a female this time. I'll post up some pics of the new Nano once things settle down an bit.

These are really cool, I wish they would stay out more. Maybe they will now that the forrest has been trimmed back.

They are secretive. Mine come out during the day but I work at my desk all day long so I can always see when they are out hunting. I don't think any one else who has come over has actually seen them out in the open. I think they liked the "forest" of macro algae but I didn't, so it's gone!

I got them about six months ago from Blue Zoo Aquatic. Tim (Keen's Reef) had some in a month ago but I was not able to get any then, maybe next time!
