Clown anemonefish

Clown trigger

Clown wrasse

Clown goby

Is there a specific characteristic that makes a fish a clown? I'm reading that Brooklynella is most often a *clown fish disease*.

We lost our clown trigger last night in just a matter of hours. My bi-colored blenny (that I introduced into my tank with a clown goby) died today while I was at work. Is my little yellow clown goby carrying this disease? The clown trigger had a new inhabitant in his tank that came from the same locale as my clown goby and the blenny.

This is heartbreaking. I'm going to take up knitting... or stamp-collecting...

:'(

Sorry to hear of yet another loss.

Doesn't this constitute some record in this group for the most fish lost by group members?

All anemonefish = clownfish

All other clowns are just posers and are called clowns because of their goofy appearance.
