so i been enjoying my 12g tremendously, but with everything else i wanted another(and im sure when this is done ill want another) so the journey is half the experience, so just so happened upon a 29g for cheap. took it home and began reading about the bean animal/ coast to coast! very impressed! so here we go, again not an experienced "reefer" but i am completely in love so if something is not right please correct me if im wrong, here is part of my journey so far....from top to bottom , stock tank after finishing the hood and base , next holes are marked, light that came with the tank is good for something!, nest two is just the plumbing for the overflow(obviously), holes are drilled! not as hard as i thought thanks glass holes dot com, back is painted i used a single stage flat back, sump after installing the plumbing and divider...

Looks good. I wish I would have set my 29g up with a beananimal. They are so much quieter than an overflow box.

Thanks man.... I have really enjoyed myself....the cool thing is it actually works! Lol

A bean animal is the overflow where there is a vertical slit across the length of the tank at the water's surface. It surface skims all the nasty crap off the surface and is pretty quiet.

sc. u should check it out its really efficient and super quite...this is going in the office were space is limited and sound would be an issue, still no clue on livestock yet, so different ideas are welcomed....

so i finally got my live rock together and the way i wanted it, added my cup coral, and false perc.btw that is a temp. heater the other is now in the sump with everything else, so far so good:yay:

some advice if i may? keep the live rock far enough all the sides of the tank so that a algae scraper can easily slide past. will save you a lot of time in the long run

Thanks a lot! That's what I'm here for constructive criticism... I think the picturemakes it look worse than it actually is...I had to move it originally because there was no room...good lookin out!
