I have probably 6 different types and I only bought one. Lol
Theyre not growing crazily, i just prefer to not have to put my hands in the tank weekly to prune. Are there any inverts that'll do the job without killing the whole thing,or should I just prune them?

Tangs or other fish
Mexican turbo snails (the big ones that are golf-ball sized)
Reduced food / light cycle
Carbon/GFO
Matrix

And you can go the chemical route as a last resort. I used AlgaeFix for about 6 weeks to kill off a wicked strain of Gelidium last year. It killed my CUC, but was overall well worth it.

yea, I can't name them all, only red grape caulerpa and not hamaldia. They only grow where they started or where moved to so they're not a fire storm or anything. Just ok hitch hikers. I trimmed them back today before a water change, I just always thought tanks ran better without me stirring up too much (digging out rocks to cut back things) as I know better than to trim in tank as it'll just spread them everywhere.

Tank is too small for fish control that I know of, that, plus my damsel and clown won't allow me to put any other fish in the tank.

Ah well, in that case, you're pretty much limited to getting your hands/gloves wet.
