As the title states: What specific clean up crew (CUC) would you consider for a new 75 gallon reef tank that just completed cycling? You have the opportunity to build it. What does your selection consist of? How many of each selection?

53 views already and not one reply. Come on folks! It's time for you to shine. Any ideas on an ideal CUC for a new 75 gallon setup? Personal experience is accepted in this thread! CUC setups that you would not do again is also accepted within this thread. Consider this a learning thread for everyone.

It's a tough call, what does your system looks like, or even what it will look like in the future...
I've always liked the sea cucumbers but since I've removed my sand bed, I don't think one would do to well in my tank

Do you have sand bed?
-maybe nassarius snails, butterscotch snails and hermit crabs, or maybe a sand sifting starfish.

Are you looking for detritivores
- maybe mini- stars, cerith perhaps fighting conch

Is algae an issues
Hermit and Emerald crabs

Ultimately after you have done your research, what do you have questions on.

Also, something else I saw that Shac ( Reef Shac) has posted a CUC Sale on his sponsor page.

Hardly any responses here; I should have posted these two threads in New Member Q & A; although the friend setting up the 75 gallon isn't a ARC member yet. Probably would have more responses by now.
