I need to either purchase an oxygen test kit, or preferably go to a LFS and have it tested ( I'm thinking that won't work as it would seem the sample would need to be tested immediately from the tank to have an accurate reading, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

My Edge tank is basically a 6 sided glass cube with an access hole that I'm guessing is about 5"x 6". With it being a skimmerless system, and with such limited surface area, I'm reluctant to add a 2nd fish until I check the oxygen level in the tank.

I currently have one small gobie, one med to large Fire shrimp, many small crabs and several corals. Everything appears to be fine now, but I don't want to reach a`tipping point where every thing dies.

Until this system, I never even realized O2 test kits were even available in the hobby, as that has always been something that has taken care of it'self, but with this tank design, it's actually a huge concern of mine.

I have a DO kit. Mojo has it. When I get it back, I'll pass it on to you.

"Back" from what, if I may ask? :) Hope it's fun!

I'll take you up on that offer.

Thank you!

Everything is running smooth now, so no rush.

Thank you for your generous offer!

The way the tank is designed, I can not add bubbles of any kind to the tank, I'd be better off just staying within the parameters of what the existing levels can support

I'm not certain how much O2 is produced by Macros, testing is the only way I can be certain of the current level

Yes Big....... I know that macros will produce oxygen..... but how much? And how much would it assist my tank in it's oxygen requirement?

Until I test the water, I don't even know for certain if I have an issue.

I'm glad that frag worked out for you, (thank you for the pic) and the frozen food appears to be good, it's just the small particle size I felt was polluting my small tank....
