I need to either purchase an oxygen test kit, or preferably go to a LFS and have it tested ( I'm thinking that won't work as it would seem the sample would need to be tested immediately from the tank to have an accurate reading, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
My Edge tank is basically a 6 sided glass cube with an access hole that I'm guessing is about 5"x 6". With it being a skimmerless system, and with such limited surface area, I'm reluctant to add a 2nd fish until I check the oxygen level in the tank.
I currently have one small gobie, one med to large Fire shrimp, many small crabs and several corals. Everything appears to be fine now, but I don't want to reach a`tipping point where every thing dies.
Until this system, I never even realized O2 test kits were even available in the hobby, as that has always been something that has taken care of it'self, but with this tank design, it's actually a huge concern of mine.
