Thinking very seriously on the LED plunge.:confused2: I have read and read stuff until my head hurts. I have a 120gal 48 x 24 x24 DT. What would you do? I have read about Bridgelux and RapidLed. What would your choice be on the LED mix? A ratio of one Cool White to Royal Blue is approximately 10-12K, 2 Royal Blue for every Cool White is between 12-15K 3Royal Blue for every Cool White is between 17-20K.
I’m thinking 60 deg at 12” above the water. I have a center brace about 2” wide. If you go with RapidLed you can use a remote to manually change them.

What says U???

If you want DIY then I believe Lilrobb said there is about a 3% difference in par between Cree and Bridgelux. Just make sure you get some UV chips or supplement your LED's with T5 or something. Bridgelux are obviously cheaper, but the new cree xt-e's are a bit cheaper.

If you have the option mix Blue and RB and White and warm white. The display at deep blue has a mixture of all these and looks awesome.
