Oil film on the water ?!?!?!?!

i notice a oily filme on the water line... where that come from??? and how bad is it...?? how can I remove it?:yuk: :new: :new: :new:

I had the same problem. Point your powerheads upward to create some surface agitation. Clears up pretty quickly.

Take a ziplock bag and drag it across the surface. The film is bacteria. It will stick to the ziplock bag.

i had the same problem a powerhead will do the trick for ya.....even a cheap MJ 400 just pointed toward the surface will be fine.

Hell just food will do that...mysis, etc....

I take it you do not have an overflow? Blow a maxijet on the surface....You need the oxygenation mix anyway.
