Ok, so now I'm sure my Mandarins are breeding!

Last night I saw them kinda stuck together and swimming upward. The male suddenly let go and this white stuff came out into the water. Should I set up a separate tank and quarantine them? I didn't have a camera handy but I wish I would have...it was something to definitely see.

The males have an elongated dorsal fin... females dont.

Thanks for the info, guys. I just wanted to know if I should set up a small tank so they can get the job done.

Edit: Just read up on one of the linksand I may be too late...I didn't turn off the filtration or skimming when I saw them. Shucks!
