I was watching my tank and saw my Coral Banded Shrimp come out of hiding. Cool I thought, as it almost never comes out of hiding anymore. It's cool looking as big as it's gotten, but it never comes out until now, the rat! Then he grabbed one of my hermits, pulled it out of the shell and proceeded to eat it, right in front of me. Then ran back into it's hiding place. I tend to overfeed, so it shouldn't be starving.

Yup, mine grabbed a Tail Spot Blennie just after I released him into the tank...got the net, took him out and took him back to the store I got him from (owner told me he was reef safe and wouldn't bother anything). He gave me $10 for the shrimp and $10 toward another fish (went with a Yellow Clown Goby).

Since he doesn't grace us with his presence anymore, except to attack, I think he's history. Shrimp Pesto sauce anyone?
