omg im poor wow mh way out my league

:shout:wow i just need a very small mh for 20 inch area of the tank im buildin and you have to take out a loan to get even a tiny one :sad: anyone got a used one for cheap lol. im going t5 for 48 inches but want a small mh for one end so i can have and grow acros and other sps . anyone plz lol .:unsure:

depending on what type of T5 you do they should be able to support anything.

You can grow SPS just fine with T5.

cool yea i just peiced a very small unite 14 x 10 x 3 and they want 365.00 omg i thout i made an ok living but wow i guese not lol . i got my 231 ish tank for just a little more than that. ill never be able to buy a new one so hoping i can find a used one someone got lying around.

You can just keep acros and other light demanding SPS near the top. Have you looked into "Aqua Mags"? They're rock structures with a flat back and use strong rare-earth magnets to hold onto the back wall. They're very strong and you could probably support a few colonies on each one.

i built my own lite back them. had 2 2 bulb shop lite units in the hood with a mirrio behind the bulbs used to reefglows and two attinics on a 55 gallon reef.

As in do you need a complete fixture of would just a reflector work.. would it be hidden in a canopy or does it need to be presentable?
