As I walk to the fish room in the basement, the reality of the bad weather fades. I feed my tanks and wipe some algae off the front glass. Next thing I know I have both arms in one tank rearranging some rocks and frags. At this point I’m not even thinking about the weather, I’m too busy diving on a reef in a tropical setting…I really love this hobby!

 It's also a good day to frag stuff. I've been up all morning

I started making water yesterday, it's always a good day for a water change.

Thats on my plans for the afternoon!

Your a lot more brave than me . My luck I would drain the water and the dang power would go out : )
I always get nervous in bad weather and just try to put everything on auto pilot
Til it's over.
Have fun

Thats on my mind but at least there would be some fresh water to help the cause.

Cleaned/took apart/vinegar soaked everything in Alpha Vertex 300 skimmer last night. Also changed out the GFO and GAC in the reactors. Maybe swap out the bulb in my UV sterilizer today, as I was due for a bulb change last month.

Anyone know how to make a DIY frag rack using no egg-crate?

Anyone know how to make a frag rack without eggcrate and no drill... LOLOL

I put in my new skimmer I bought from Josh. THANKS Josh! The little SCA-302 is skimming great! The pump fits compactly underneath the skimmer and gives me extra room in my sump. Hmmmmm I have a Reef Octopus that Is too large for one of my tanks, maybe I need to give this one a few weeks and then order another SCA.:D
