Well I received some great corals from Reef works today and while I opened the box and I moved the cover off my tank to get a few cups of tank water to mix my coral rx pro and I heard this flicking sound and I looked around the tank and I saw my equsite wrasse in a plastic pail next to my tank. I grabbed him and put him back in the tank and he moved a little slow for a minute but he's back to normal. My first jumper :wow2: dumb wrasse

silly fish.......I'm always wondering why they want to jump out of their environment into the air in the first place? I understand scared.....go hide in the sand or something!

Agree 110% we make their homes like plush condos and feed them the best and then he wants to take a leap of death.
He is always happy and in front of the tank watching me and begging for attention. I think he wanted to jump out and play.

You should've pet him and played with him for a few minutes. He must be very attached to you, wanting your attention that badly! LOL

Peer pressure. The other fish triple-dog-dared him.

My only jumper was my female clown who I truly believe jumped 3x in attempts to kill me.

I did scratch his belly a little before I put him back:D just hope he doesn't think every time he jumps he gets his belly scratched:unsure:

Mine got tossed back in the tank with a bunch of dog hair and a few dust bunnies attached. The other fish ridiculed her for days.

That's funny now that you mention it I noticed him being a little
Dirty and all the other fish took off when I put him
Back in . Now I guess he feels like the special one since he's seen the other side
Outside

Lol. Like the toys in the claw machine in toy story. Haha

Was it your Wrasse? He probably wanted a Shower:crazy:

wow good luck!!!! I was cleaning the back chamber of my biocube a few months ago and just as I was taking out my mediabasket I saw my wrasse just sitting in the middle chamber, I have no clue how long he was there but lets just say if I didnt see him he probably wouldnt have made it.

Its funny how things like that happen

Long time ago, when I had my freshwater set-up, I had an Oscar cichlid, who use to jump to catch the food from my fingers, every single time when I was going to feed him, he wasn't hungry, (I guess) but I never want to overfeed him, it was funny that every time they see you trough the glass seems like they just want to jump at you!
