one tooth simnia ?

I found this unique creature yesterday and can't find a lot of info on it accept that it comes from the southeast coast and Caribbean its quite unique and very slow its got a little feeder snout and tiny feelers.
It was most likly a hitchhiker that came on the gorgonia and it is purple from eating from the gorgonia and it has even developed fals white polyps as camouflage , is it harmful ?

Anyone know if this is a threat to the polyps ?one site refers to it as a symbiotic relationship wile another calls it parasitic

Yea its a strike out for Google i can't find much info on it at all. I'd like To hang on to it but would hate to find out its eating polyps , but its just a sea whip it feeds on and it grows like a weed .
