I'll be picking up my new tank, a 29g BioCube, this week. It'll replace my current 20g tank.

So I want to update the lighting and pump, of course, but also want a true blue refugium.

Would love to do some mangroves and macro algae.

Seems like these are main options

Use in-tank chambers for small fuge with chaeto.

HOB refugium like the http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/sumps-and-refugiums/octopus-refugium-18-x-4-x-12.html">Octopus Refugium.

Separate fuge (either above or below the tank).

I'm currently using a CPR Bak-Pak HOB skimmer on the 20g. I also have an unused Mag 7 sitting around. No idea what kind of lighting to do for a fuge anyway.

Are there other options? Is one option better than the others?
