Does anyone have any idea where I might find a pair (ideally a sexed pair) of orchid dottybacks?

Don't know about a mated pair. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

You could also PM sponsors. Tim (Keen Reef) is especially helpful in keeping a lookout for a special order fish. He might be able to find what you're looking for.

Pseudochromis is the genus for the common name Dottyback. They must have been confused as to which species they were dealing with.

Well, I ordered two orchid dottybacks, which arrived in good shape. However, I was not aware that if you have two males, one will eventually destroy the other. The smaller of the two is already showing signs of harassment. A friend has volunteered to take one, but I don't think I'll be able to catch one. Sooo....now I'm in the market for a FEMALE orchid dottyback.

Try Inlandaquatics.com, they have been great every time I've ordered.
