Meet our first fish...clown 1 and clown 2 Haha. Think I'll let the grandkids name them.
They are probably quite unhappy with their new digs as they came out of a large, coral filled tank.

I will have to go re-read all the posts from the other QT thread to see about the prophylactic treatments.

When I previewed this, I noticed one glaring thing we failed to do....who wants to be the first one to point it out? :::::GO!!

Just a guess but I don't see any drip loops in your wiring. They could be out of sight.

I'm sure you will all be shocked to learn that the grandkids named them Marlon and Nemo...so original lol. And they made sure we noted the differences in their stripes so we would know who is who.

My daughter named our first two clowns the same thing. But after telling her how clowns establish dominance and the more dominant one becomes a female...Marlon's name became Marlina.

“Someone” in our household (over the age of 18, but I’m not naming names) decided our clowns are Barbara and Thomas. And the yellow tang is Nemo. No matter how much the 13-yr-old and I try to explain, they are adamant that the tang’s name is correct!!

I have some small power heads and you’re welcome to have one for free next time you come by. Also I have some window tint as you’re welcome to have.

Thank you! I will take you up on that! Not sure when I will be over that way but all of my specialists are in Sandy Springs so I’m over tat way at least a couple of times a month. We are also coming to the ARC meeting

My water reading have changed a bit since yesterday with really no changes to the tank at all so
Yesterday: today:
Temp 76. 76
PH 8.4. 8.0
Amm/Nitrite 0/0. 0/0
Nitrate 4ppm. 0
Sp. grav. 1.026. 1.026

What's up with the sudden decline in pH and nitrates? This is just a 13g QY with 2 clowns only.
I have some Kent's Marine Pro dkh to increase alkalinity, should I add a little bit of that?
Thanks,
Nancy

Did you do a water change? Also I could have been an error in the testing.
