I was thinking the same about mine. I live on the 3rd floor and always wonder....how big is too big?

I never overcrowded mine to keep me safe in my apartment in the 3rd floor :D:D just the 150 tank itself was to heavy  hehe just to lift those tanks empty to any floor you need some strong back friendly people around you, I wouldn't suggest to do it so, you never know if the building structure is still strong enough to handle over a Ton from weight.

Yea think I'll stick to my 60g. I don't want my neighbors down stairs to hate me.

Yeah Donna, keep that one and keep it safe, others things to consider on installing tanks on apartments would be preventing it from flooding the floor, and the next one will be installing GFCI protected outlets or power strips, there are some resistant ones on some stores but not in all, some apartments have some old wiring that won't resist the whole power that our tanks demand and that could be an issue, not trying to scare anyone, just trying to protect ourselves. Out of topic but hope it helps.

Thank you buddy. I did get a really great power strip when I bought my light fixture from another member.
