Overflow dilema

Okay...I picked up the Oceanic 135 Gal out of the for sale section.

It is reef ready, however, there is only 1 hole drilled in each corner behind the Over Flows. Once Bulkhead fitting is installed on that hole, I don't believe there will be room to drill a 2nd hole for an emergency return drain or return. I supposed I could buy bigger OverFlow baffles...(anyone know where to buy them at).
I have no idea what the Drain Flow Rate would be. I have read the return should be 10x gallon capacity= Return Pump Flow GPH
However, I don't know if I can count on that number since I don't know what the Drain is rated for.
I would hate to be so far off that I'd have to restrict the return way down. Then not achieve proper turn over rate.

Anyone have a conversion or calculation that I might be able to get in the ball park here?

Regardless of flow rate I would use both those holes in overflow as drains and plumb return up the back of the tank. Jmo

I'd also use both as drains. Just make sure you valve the return pump in case it's a little too powerful you can dial it back. You should be fine and congrats on the new tank!

Thanks. Missed a few that came up but finally grabbed this one.
It will take a but to get what I need or. Pump, Skimmer, stuff like that. I am thinking of sinking it into the wall, hiding the tank in a closet space. If so, I will build an appropriate stand. Move all of the w/c stuff into there as well. Just have to a place to stash all the crap that is currently in that closet.
I have some cleaning to do, put the Overflows back in the tank, plumb it. So it will be a but, but I will slowly get there. Finish some "honey do" items to keep the wife happy!

Imho a picture frame tank is a waste as it is only flat with no depth.

Strange, that is the opposite feeling that I had, as well as others. True, from the front I lose the side views, but not like the tank has disappeared. When I want to see the rest, then I just walk into my "Jack Burns secret hideout"

Yeah Jason (Redstang) mentioned that.
I am not 100% sure I am going to do an in wall. Just be nice to keep some of my floor space, and not have to worry about how a stand looks or matches.

Agreed on both as drains, returns up and over the back. What size bulkheads are in the holes? They should both be 1".

I haven't measured out the hole. If I had to guess the hole in the glass is either 1.5" -2". So not sure what size bulkhead will fit that.

If the hole is 1.5" it's a 3/4" bulkhead. If it's a 1 3/4" hole, it's a 1" bulkhead.

I would think it's more likely to be a 1" bulkhead- that's the standard size for drains. I can't imagine it being smaller - if it was, it would be inadequate for drains.

Personally, if I was starting from scratch on a tank, I'd drill three holes in each overflow. Two for a Herbie style drain and one for a return. If I couldn't fit them, I'd think about getting larger overflows. Holes are one thing that are really really hard to change once the thing is set up...

Instead of adding a second bulk head hole, is there enough room to enlare the hole that is alredy there to something larger like a 2" on each side?

There is enough room for a bigger bulkhead, but not enough room for 2 holes without changing the Overflows. Ideally, I would prefer extra holes. Just not sure I want to chance drilling holes if ya know what I mean.

The tank could be tempered. Just because there is hole there now does not render the bottom non tempered . Many Tanks were drilled then tempered. If it is not tempered then drilling holes is a breeze.
