Overflow Flushing

I just noticed I'm getting a gradual rise of the water level within my overflow which creates a flushing that is heard along with the water level dropping within the overflow. It's not very much, maybe 1/2" or so. It doesn't seem to be constant. I hear it mostly at night, but that might be because the house noises aren't as much.

Any thoughts?

check the air vent in the top of the standpipe for salt probably clogged a little

If it is not clogged with salt you might need to drill it out a bit larger. GO slow with the bit size until it stops.

It must be something that has changed. It hasn't had an issue until the last couple days. I'll check the air vent when I return home. Hopefully it will be that simple.
