Really, what is the logic on this. If you can get 0 tds out of a 5 stage unit whats the point of so many? Is that carbon and gfo that your gonna run through there too? this is wierd but intresting concept.

Edit: Maybe to super save on replacing filters. Your gonna catch every micron known to man?

Edit: I see the list now, so thats a no go and carbon and gfo right?

The 5micron is a carbon stage - what sense would gfo make in that lineup?

Ignore what's currently in there - I have to replace all filters and media.

Holding system are 2 x 65gal horizontal barrels connected for salt mixing and RODI topoff

I like it, whats the output your shooting for with it. Also the waste? Is it just gonna be setup like the water saver deal with the two ro's that I see in there.

Nobody usually runs 50 or even 25micron filters - by adding them I hope to be able to change filters less often and don't worry about the membrane.

Hey when you get it setup will you take some tds readings before the ro membranes, I'm intrested in the results on that. I havent tested mine but 4 is what I consistently get coming out of the RO, after the DI is 0. The logic is strong with this one. Thats the hunch I had is that he would get a super long life on the RO membranes. Also I figured like you Dave because he can lol. Might as well do it up if you have it like that. I like it Robb good luck with it and I really am intrested on the readings before the RO and maybe I can test mine too to get a comparision. But mine is about a year old now. It might be better to find someone with a new 5 stage.
