Looking for members who use ozone . What equipment they use,amount, and any other info. Also pros and cons.

I have a 300mg one with a reactor, controlled by my AC3. Just started the tank though, so no fish.

So far all Ive noticed is it makes the water really clear and cuts my skimmer foam down a good bit.

Only Con is make sure its controlled properly and make sure you are running carbon on the water and air output of whatever youre using as a reactor as its toxic if it builds up in a room.

I have an Ozotech poseidon adjustable. I just run it to the O3 port on my Alpha 300, and I run it at about 30 mg/hour. No air dryer. I just use it as a water clarifier. At this low setting and not using an air dryer, the impact on ORP is negligible and the actual O3 production is probably realistically 15 mg.hour.

But for parasite control I have an Emperor Aquatics 150 watt HO UV.
