I love to see through the back of fish tank.

My issue would be that there is always a wall in the way otherwise I agree with that.

Yup.. I left mine where I can into the overflows (because there is a entire room behind the tank) if you can see the back with ease its kinda pointless, but since I can see mine with zero effort I made sure to leave mine visable incase something hops in I will be able to spot them with no problems..
