hello i resently recived a rock from a member on the site with a bunch of palythoas exact kind i am unsure anyway i have had them in the tank 2 weeks or so and some of the heads dont open i think they all have been open at one time or another but probably 1/3 of them are closed up the water flow is about the same for the whole rock im using 4 t5ho the rock i probably 12 in down my specs are all good exept for my phosphates which i have been batteling there slowly headed down just looking for a little info on what to do to make all of them extend thanks

Try mid way down...and post a pic if you have one. Water changes once a week will get rid of the phates. When perameters are good go two weeks. Are you feeding heavy, or useing water with posphates in it?

i tried getting a pic with no luck looked like a big blob anyway i do a 15-20% water change everyweek change water tested 0 and using instant ocean salt and only feeding once every 3 days i had another post up about it dident have mush luck with a solution but got some of the sechem product and put it in my canister and is slowly bringing it down

Sounds like you are on the right track. You got new bulbs in there because you just changed out, or how old are they? Put the coral lower down in the tank IMHO.

Might look for a snail or nubi's eatin on it with a magnifying lens. Put the coral in a bowl. Pick off the critter with some tweezers or get a dip if you a pest.
