Panama City Beach in early October

Hello, All.

My wife and I are going to Panama City for her birthday next month. We'll be down there the first week in October. I'm trying to surprise her with a dive trip while we're there, so I have a few questions.

Has anyone on here been diving down there this time of year?
Do you have any recommendations on dive shops to go with?
What about any specific wrecks to dive? All the people going are Advanced Certified and Nitrox Certified.

I'm looking at Panama City Diving as it seems to have the best reviews. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

If youre up for a long boat ride the USS oriskany wreck is awesome!

Otherwise just hit up a local dive shop and see what they recommend. There is a lot of decent diving around there.
